How will Election 2011 impact SF families?

October 16th Planting Day at McKinley Square was a great success

Thank you all that made the planting on Sunday morning.

We had a great turn out, and planted approximately 600 native plants on the McKinley Square hillside, which are all fairly visible for the flags that were placed to mark them (until we ran out of flags). These plants will help native wildlife, bees, butterflies, some of which are endangered, while at the same time making the hillside safer for dogs by combatting the invasive fox tail…
