New plans for Mission Bay Salesforce office unveiled

Salesforce.com's presence as a major economic force in San Francisco will soon be visible in the form of an eye-popping, 14-acre campus in Mission Bay.

Situated in the growing neighborhood around AT&T Park, the online sales software company's eight-building headquarters would sport bold shades of pink, orange and purple and span 2 million square feet.

Between 8,000 and 10,000 workers would stroll through offices, shops, restaurants and child care sites. And farmers' markets, outdoor cafes, artwork and public seating would enliven a series of connected plazas.
