Guidelines

Potrero Boosters accounts are intended for:

• Official members of the Potrero Boosters organization
• Anyone living in or passionate about issues related to the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, Calif.

Potrero Boosters encourages members to participate in our community by posting blogs, debating topics in the forum and utilizing this community to the fullest extent possible. The following community guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a member of the Potrero Boosters community. Don't forget that your use of this community is subject to these Guidelines and our Terms of Service.

1. Be Respectful


Personal attacks, hateful, racially or ethnically derogatory comments, and harassment against other participants in the community will not be tolerated. You can certainly disagree with another, but be respectful and keep your comments relevant to the topic of conversation.

2. Avoid Nasty Language


Foul, obscene or sexually explicit language or other content that a reasonable person would find objectionable is not permitted.

3. Don't Spam

 Many of us have products and/or services for sale. And it’s understandable that there may be times when you feel compelled to pitch them to the community. So long as it’s relevant to a conversation that’s fine, but please be respectful and don’t use Potrero Boosters to spray spam messages or pitches about products or services.

4. Make Yourself at Home


Remember, this is your community. Don't be shy to chime in. Feel free to express yourself, ask questions and mix it up.

Please follow the rules posted here. In most circumstances, we like to give second chances, so we’ll send you a warning if you step across any of the lines listed below. Subsequent violations may result in account termination without warning.
