Groundbreaking festivities for the new UCSF Medical Center

It’s time to celebrate!

On Wednesday, October 27, 2010, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital will host a community celebration as part of the official groundbreaking festivities for the new UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay. You are all invited! This event will take place at 3rd and 16th Streets in Mission Bay for all our neighbors, staff, faculty, and students.

Please join us for this important day. In addition to learning more about the new hospitals and touring the mock-up patient rooms, there will be live entertainment, healthy cooking demonstrations from nationally renowned chefs, a bountiful farmers’ market, community information tables, giveaways, games and activities for all ages. See also the attached flyer. We strongly urge you to take public transit, walk, or bike to the celebration because parking will be extremely limited.
