Community Mural Day

Everyone welcome!

Teams of 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students will be working with muralist Josef Norris and Kid Serve Youth Murals all fall to build the mural.

But on Saturday November 6th, everyone (kids, teachers, parents, friends & community members) will have the opportunity to be a part of its creation! Please join us for snacks, drinks, and a special guest performance by the San Francisco alternative country band, "The Porkchop Express!"

Josef thinks we'll most likely be grouting that day, so please dress to get dirty.

This work day is a key part of fulfilling the "community match" component of the $29,000 Community Challenge Award which is funding nearly 2/3 of the cost of this mural. Your attendance will be valued at $12/hr and will ensure we meet our matching requirement. Please come for as much of the 2 hours as you can.
