Deli at 20th & Connecticut?

Does anyone know what the status is of the new Chatz Deli at 501 Connecticut Street, former home of Jay's & Klein's? There's been a sheet of paper stating they will be opening soon for what seems to have been a year now, but absolutely nothing, including the mop bucket has moved in about the same period.

Did Chatz bite off more than they could chew?

I heard that the landlords were holding things up, but that was a few months ago.

Hello Mark,

My name is Matt Gabard and I am going to be a teacher at the new center, called Little lYNC, which is located at 501 Connecticut where the delis once resided. We should be opening in March. As for Chatz, apparently they were just sitting on the space without moving forward. Not sure of the details. Maybe you already know some or all of this. I just saw this post and felt I would respond with what I know. In any case, we look forward to becoming a part of the community!
