What do you love most about Potrero?: I had a great time growing up in the neighborhood, squeezing through the gap in the gate and fence at Patrick Henry Grade School to play in the schoolyard in the evenings. Had lots of friends who lived in the projects, belonged to the Potrero Hill Neighborhood House, etc.

Favorite Potrero Hill spot (shop, park, etc.):: Patrick Henry Grade School

About Me:: I have a doctorate in history and am a retired university administrator. I am a writer, actor, and a stand-up comedian. I am restoring a building on Route 66 in Normal, Illinois.
