November Booster Meeting

You won't want to miss our last general meeting of the year, this Tuesday, November 30th, 7pm at the Nabe. We've got a packed schedule, with both serious and fun issues. Details below:

We will finally hear from the California High Speed Rail Authority. This is one of the biggest issues on the Hill.

We will hear briefly from our new District 10 Supervisor, Malia Cohen.

We will also see what AT&T is planning for large "street furniture" boxes in our 'hood.

And for the fun part, we'll hear what local artist David Gentry is offering as a fundraiser for the Nabe. Be ready to buy raffle tickets to get a portrait of your choosing and raise funds for a needy local organization.

We'll end our evening with a brief slide show of photos several local photographers took at the Mirant power plant. It's not something you'll see every day. Another reason to come to Booster meetings!

We'll spend some time reviewing the year and planning for next year. Think about the issues of importance to you and let us know what those issues are.
