Next Boosters Meeting, June 11

At the next Boosters meeting, Tuesday June 28 at 7 pm at the Neighborhood House, we’ll get a first look at the proposed housing development of the California Mini Storage site, between Pennsylvania Avenue and Missouri Street, at Sierra Street and 22nd Street.

We’ll discuss filing a formal complaint against the Academy of Art University with the City’s Planning Department, because of their illegal bus yard at 121 Wisconsin Street.

We’ll discuss and vote on ratifying a support letter for the the McKinley Square Community Association for use in their grant applications.

We’ll also have a brief update on 1321 DeHaro, the proposed monster house planned next to Starr King Open Space; the Boosters voted two years ago(!) to appeal that project’s exemption from environmental review, and we are now looking into finally filing that appeal.
