McKinley Square Community Association board meeting

The Dec 16th MSCA board meeting, in addition to other agenda items, will focus on addressing the issues of dogs at McKinley Square.


This meeting may not resolve, but begin a dialog of community input, put together a working group, whom goal is to put together a solution.
There is long term goals of enlarging the park, which are reasonable to work towards, but shorter term goals seems reasonable as well.
The solution may be a fenced safe & clean zone, timed use, limited entrance/exit or other proposals, or nothing at all.

I have a feeling there are a number of disenchanted park users, and we can start to resolve the situation at the park, and make the park usable by all. Or maybe I'm wrong and people are OK with the current situation. But by providing an opportunity to discuss and resolve the issue, we can move forward, rather than have this issue divide the community.

The meeting will be at Downtown High School, Wednesday, December 16th, 6:30pm.

This issue has been heated in the past, but this meeting is to resolve the issue in a calm and constructive fashion. We are all in this together.
